Gary Wood elected to Oklahoma County Bar Association Board

Riggs Abney OKC Attorney Gary Wood has been elected to the Oklahoma County Bar Association Board of Directors. He has been a member of the Oklahoma County Bar Association for 26 years and will serve a three-year term. Gary previously served as a Law Library Trustee from 2019-2021.

His areas of expertise include administrative law and criminal defense in federal, state and municipal courts, as well as expungements, pardons, paroles, representation of individuals before state and federal agencies.

Mr. Wood has represented businesses and individuals in front of numerous state agency boards, including the Nursing Board, Funeral Board, State Board of Behavioral Health and Department of Human Services, among others. He has also represented individuals in proceedings brought by the Oklahoma Health Care Authority in relation to claims for overbilling. On a federal level, Mr. Wood has represented individuals in exclusion hearings conducted by the Office of the Inspector General of the Department of Health and Human Services.
