DANNY K. SHADID

Danny K. Shadid is an of counsel attorney in the firm’s Oklahoma City office. His practice focuses on representing victims of sexual assault and other violent crimes, as well as victims of medical negligence. Mr. Shadid often appears before administrative agencies and has extensive experience practicing the intricacies of litigation.

Mr. Shadid has obtained multiple million-dollar verdicts and settlements for victims of crime and victims of medical negligence. He travels the state and country providing presentations and lectures on both issues. His most recent speaking engagements were seminars and trainings for the National Crime Victims Bar Association, in association with the National Center for the Victims of Crime.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Shadid served as an assistant attorney general for the state of Oklahoma, where he worked in the criminal division. He earned a Juris Doctor from Oklahoma City University School of Law in 1979, where he was a member of the Oklahoma City Law Review and was named to the Order of Barristers upon graduating. Mr. Shadid received his bachelor’s degree in from the University of Oklahoma in 1975.

Mr. Shadid is licensed to practice in the Oklahoma Supreme Court and all Oklahoma State courts, 1979; United States Supreme Court, 1984; United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit, 1979; United States District Court for the Western District of Oklahoma, 1980; United States District Court for the Eastern District of Oklahoma, 1979; and United States District Court for the Northern District of Oklahoma, 1980.

Mr. Shadid is a member of the Oklahoma County Bar Association, Oklahoma Bar Association and the National Crime Victims Bar Association. He served for many years as a member of the St. Elijah Orthodox Christian Church Parish Council.
