George M. Emerson is a shareholder and director in the firm’s Oklahoma City office. He litigates complex matters in the areas of bankruptcy, civil litigation, estate planning, wills, trusts and probate, government and politics, insurance receiverships, legal membership plans, personal injury and real estate.

Mr. Emerson earned a Juris Doctor from the University of Oklahoma College of Law in 1989. He received his bachelor’s degree in political science with a minor in history in 1986, where he was also named to the dean’s honor roll.

Mr. Emerson currently serves as a member of the firm’s executive and management committees. He is actively involved with the Oklahoma County Bar Association and the Oklahoma Bar Association, and serves as a fellow of the Oklahoma Bar Foundation. He is a former member of the Oklahoma Bar Association Young Lawyers Division.
