Mike Turpen, former Oklahoma attorney general and Oklahoma Hall of Fame member, received the United Way of Central Oklahoma Richard H Clements Lifetime Achievement Award, given to those dedicated to lives of service, leading and volunteerism.
“We are thrilled to honor and celebrate these three inspiring leaders,” said Sherri Lance, board chair of United Way of Central Oklahoma. “We are so grateful for the commitment these volunteers have shown to strengthening our community through their contributions to United Way, our partner agencies and Oklahoma.”
The gala also celebrated the 2020 fundraising campaign and marked the official kick-off for the 2021 campaign.
