Bankruptcy
The firm’s bankruptcy expertise is complemented by its extensive experience in pursuing creditors’ and debtors’ rights, and in defending creditors in fraudulent conveyance and preferential transfer litigation across the country. Due to the complexity of this area of law, our other areas of practice, including banking, business and commercial, tax, litigation, and real estate, work alongside the Bankruptcy practice to analyze the issues presented and find the best solutions available for the client.
Attorneys
Riggs Abney attorneys regularly represent debtors, creditors and creditors’ committees in cases filed under the Bankruptcy Code, many of which involve multi-million dollar corporate reorganizations and sophisticated restructures and liquidations. They provide counsel to bankruptcy trustees in the reorganization and liquidation of various businesses. Our attorneys even serve as panel trustees in the United States Bankruptcy Courts for the Northern and Eastern District of Oklahoma.
