Briana Peterson is an associate defense attorney in the firm’s Colorado office. Her practice consists of oil and gas, estate planning, wills, employment and labor laws, and civil rights law.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Peterson’s solo practice focused primarily on estate planning, probate, family law and contracts. She also served in the land department for a small oil and gas company.

Ms. Peterson obtained a Juris Doctor from University of Colorado Law School in 1992. During law school, she was named to the dean’s honor roll and was an honors finalist for an appellate advocacy competition. She earned a bachelor’s in Soviet studies from the University of Colorado, as well.

Ms. Peterson is an active member of the Colorado Bar Association.
